Wedding Dresses and Trains

We're over half way through the 2014 wedding season now and are receiving a steady flow of our bride and groom's choice of photos for their albums. The sooner I receive them the sooner I can begin the process of planning and designing the album layouts. I don't use template software for my albums, each one is designed individually. Many of our couples who were married earlier in the year have already received their beautiful album.

I received one last week from Andy, my friendly UPS man, and another arrived on Thursday - collected from me at home by a delighted bride and groom!

My albums are hand-made in Italy by GraphiStudio. The service I receive from them is tremendous and in 11 years I've only had a fault with one page on one album, and they quickly replaced it without quibble. In my opinion they are the best albums available and some of their new styles are simply stunning.

I have just been scanning some 1950's wedding pictures for a client. The dress styles and poses used are a little different from today's weddings, with long trains on the dresses, but they are brilliant to look at and in 50 years your children and grandchildren will be looking at your album with the same interest and joy.

I spent a rare day off in Llangollen recently and took the opportunity to photograph some of the amazing steam trains which run between Llangollen and (soon) Corwen. Well worth a visit if you haven't been and I can recommend the tea and home made cakes on Glyndyfrdwy Station! I've created a photo gallery please click on the image above to access my home page.
